Now that Beatrice is 16 months old, I bet you are all just dying over the fact that I never showed you any pictures of her nursery. No? Well, let's pretend, shall we?
The room was originally painted a light pink for Sophie when we moved in, and we didn't repaint during my pregnancy because we didn't know if Beatrice would be a boy or a girl. Lucky for us we didn't have to change the wall color! The crib is the same one we used for all four babies, and I think we even got it second hand - so this crib has seen better days, no doubt. It's even a drop side (gasp! the horror!) crib which are frowned upon nowadays. I also have crib bumpers in there, so basically it is a total death trap, lol. I didn't get a new bumper, and most of the bedding is hand me down as well, but I did get one new sheet which has owls on it and is adorable. And which I didn't photograph, naturally. All of the artwork came from Etsy or was handmade by me, the little green table came from Goodwill and my mom painted it (you can't see the color well in the photos but it is a light mint/pistachio green and may be my favorite piece of furniture in the who;le house I love the color so much).
Sorry about the photo quality - the colors of the room are less than accurately portrayed in some of these shots because the only window faces North so it is impossible to get good light in there. Also, I took the pictures in March, so it was probably dark and wintery. But I don't want to retake them for fear it will be another 6 months before I get around to posting this. So deal.
With no further ado, behold nursery ala Bebe;
The title of this last picture is "Queen Bee' and I love it so much.
