I don’t know if anyone else has an issue finding headphones they like, but it seems to be a never ending search over here. The over the head ones end up hurting my ears after awhile (or cost WAY too much!), the earbuds always fall out. I especially hate Apples new earbud design, which are both painful AND fall out of my ears if I bend over or whatever.
And then of course there is the issue of tangling and unraveling every time you need them, or carrying them around with you so you always have them. Wraps headphones have solved all these issues with their clever design.
These headphones come in a variety of colors and styles (braided (faux) leather, wooden beads, etc) and are designed to be wrapped around the wrist like a bracelet. It’s super easy to attach the ends (convenient when you only have one hand), and your headphones stay close by and tangle free- ready to use whenever you need them!
Wraps are the type of headphones that plug tightly into the ear, keeping them more secure and helping to eliminate outside noises. I’ve always kind of hated those types of headphones just because of how it makes me feel sort of stopped up and claustrophobic, but because Wraps comes with 3 different size plugs, I was able to custom fit them to make them more comfortable. They sound good too, although I will admit to not being super picky about (or a great judge of) sound quality.
I don’t think Wraps are going to replace your Beats by Dre headphones for a pure listening experience, but I do think they are perfect for students or anyone with a public transportation commute. I can’t wait to share them with my kids when they grow out of their current “destroy all headphones within minutes” phase.
Note: I was provided with several pairs of Wraps headphones for the purposes of this review. I was not compensated in any other way, and of course all opinions expressed are solely my own. See more at mywraps.com
